Hello, everyone! I am deeply honored to be invited to participate in today’s 7th Belt and Road Forum for Traditional Chinese Medicine Development. As the president of the World Trade Point Federation, I am delighted to join friends from around the world to discuss in-depth cooperation related to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the Belt and Road Initiative.
The mission of the World Trade Point Federation is to promote trade exchanges between countries and foster sustainable business cooperation. We fully recognize that the health industry is a key driver of global economic growth, and TCM is undoubtedly a vital part of it. Through the Belt and Road Initiative, the internationalization of TCM has accelerated at an unprecedented pace. We have witnessed the rapid development of TCM enterprises in regions such as Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa, bringing new opportunities to local health industries and opening new pathways for the global trade of TCM products.
In today's world, where global health systems face immense challenges, cross-border medical cooperation is becoming increasingly important. We believe that TCM, through the Belt and Road Initiative, can play a more significant role globally, especially in advancing the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and enhancing human health and well-being.
In the future, the World Trade Point Federation will continue to leverage its strengths, collaborating with governments, relevant institutions, and businesses to provide more support and security for the internationalization and global promotion of TCM. We will also continue to promote the integration of TCM into the health systems of Belt and Road countries, helping it become a crucial component of these nations' healthcare services.
Ladies and gentlemen, today’s forum is not just a discussion about TCM; it is also a dialogue on the development of the global health industry. Our collaboration and exchanges are not only promoting the globalization of TCM but also working together to build a healthier, more prosperous, and harmonious world. I firmly believe that with joint efforts, the future of TCM will be brighter, and the international community will further recognize its immense value.
